Hi Alfred; My condolences on your mishap. Had almost the same thing on my '99 Savage, gravel and sand on a curve, not much damage to anything but the tank. Had to tap out some dents and lead in with a blowtorch then file smooth and fill in with Bondo paint filler. Biggest problem was the decals which had to go when repainting and I hear they are entirely too expensive to replace in all sensibleness, so I have black fenders and a red tank with no decals. If you just have scratches, you may be able to fill in with Bondo, sand off smooth, then touch up with paint and avoid messing with the decals. Try it! What can it hurt?
